Joe, a jazz piano player, composer and co-owner of tripletrecords.com, has been appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada. If you’re reading this in Canada you already know what a great national honour this is. If you aren’t in Canada, well … it’s one of our highest national civilian honours. It is bestowed on citizens who have shone. And Joe certainly has, over his long career as a recording artist, having also been awarded a Juno for his recording “Africville”.
